LOVE IT.
Isn’t it funny that naturally… we all tend to believe in others more than we believe in ourselves? Is it just the way we were raised? Asian families with our traditional Asian parents who instilled doubt and low self-esteem in us? I grew up with my dad calling me stupid, too this, too that, not enough of this, not enough of that… and yes, we all grow up and realize that life is choice driven and we are the ones who have the power to make our own decisions but why do we still have this crazy emotional baggage that we carry around? I live in 2 worlds… my real life world and my fantasy world in my head. This journey is a crazy emotional roller coaster but I still want to push forward and believe that we can create the lives we want to live… It’s not too big of a dream is it? =T
I am in complete awe of my dear friend Leon and his illustrations. I wish you could see what I see. His portfolio, raw illustrations with pencil, pen, and marker is to die for. Here is his illustrations done by hand and painting on Adobe Photoshop. It’s unreal. You can’t duplicate talent like this even if you tried… it runs in his family of artists and illustrators like his adorable and sweet mom. =)

Since moving to NYC, we’ve come to terms with certain things… like SPACE. Forget all the luxuries that we use to take for granted back home like walk-in closets and garden bath tubs because NYC apartments are like shoe boxes. You have to get creative with the space you can afford and most apartments here are not that great. We try to use our vertical space by putting up shelves for storage and found a great dining table at Ikea that’s compact size but can be extended on both sides. I’ve been using it as my cutting, drafting, and sewing table… all in my kitchen =) Can you find my fridge in the background?? =D

How ADORABLE is this… Barbie in Loubs!!! Heheheh… a girl’s dream come true. Barbie was my childhood muse as well =) It’s only logical for Christian Louboutin to design his own Barbie with a dream shoe closet! I loveeee everything from the ads, incorporating Christian in every image with Barbie in proportional size, to the packaging design, and of course… the beautiful shoes!!
