When I was planning my wedding years ago… this was my DREAM DRESS. Now I can have it… on Barbie! Darn that girl! She gets to wear EVERYTHING. ehehhe. Funny that my actual wedding dress wasn’t even remotely close to this beautiful Monique Lhuillier dress. Oh well…
This dress was apart of her ad campaign also back then (I think Fall 2006 or something?) and it was absolutely STUNNING!! I can’t find an image of it, but when I do, I’ll post it!
EDIT: FOUND IT! This is the only little image I found of the ad campaign. This entire ad campaign was so pretty, I wish I could find all the images from it and file it away for inspiration =(
Just because I like my Starbucks Caramel Macchiato “upside down”, doesn’t mean I like my Gatorade upside down also… WEIRD. It took me a while to even notice that the label was on upside down, hehe. What happened to quality control?? Or… does my neighborhood grocery store sells irregular stuff?? Hhhmmmm… oh well. =D
Hi all! I’m in the process of updating my blog and giving it a face lift. Please come back soon and stay tuned for a mini make-over of some sort with all new postings & photos! =)
I love spending time with my magazines and books… too bad I don’t always have time. I love flipping through the pages of fashion magazines and examining each and every ad, editorial, and featured articles. It’s kind of odd that I like to flip through magazines backwards like Japanese magazines… hmmm, why is that?? Speaking of Japanese style magazines… there’s a Japanese bookstore that I love to go to when I have spare time called Kinokuniya. It’s an absolute dream filled with fashion magazines, books, stationary, and just cool fun stuff from Japan! Check it out if you’re ever in NYC!
I got this mass e-mail from a friend of mine and in the subject line read: “Does such a heaven exist? Brandy, you know a Googlee, is this true?!!” I immediately replied back to say, “yes, it does… it really does!!” Refer to the content below:
Do you think sometimes you work in the wrong place???!!! A sneak peek at GOOGLE headquarters –
Moving around: A slide allows quick access from different floors. There are also poles available… they are similar to the ones used in fire stations.
FOOD: Employees can eat all they want from a vast choice of food and drink.
Work Station: Each employee has at least two large screens. There are 4-6 ‘Zooglers’ per office.
INNOVATION: Large boards are available just about everywhere because ‘ideas don’t always come when seated in the office’ says one of Googles managers.
LEISURE: Pool tables, video games etc. are available in many areas.
Communication: On each floor, there are private cabin areas where employees can attend to personal affairs.
Technical Support: Problem with your computer? No problem. Bring it to this area where drinks are available while it is being fixed.
Health: Professional masseurs (eusses) available.
REST: This room provides massage chairs that you control … while you view relaxing aquariums!!!
Ambiance: There are many books in this library, even some about programming!! My question is…
When do they work?
How much do they pay employees to work there?
But most importantly ……….
Do they have any vacancies?
With that being said… Forget about pushing my kids to become doctors like old traditional Asian parents (like mine), shooooooot! When I have kids, I’ll teach them to say, “Mommy, when I grow up I want to work at GOOGLE like Uncle Rod!!!” I’ll teach them to accept nothing less than a Heaven like this because it truly does exist. LOL. The possibilities are absolutely ENDLESS! =D
