On our way to the Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti show, we passed by Tory Burch’s presentation! The models were elevated on a stage so we saw everything =) The guests were just fabulous — you just knew they were the Upper East Side elite and didn’t belong in this part of town by the way they dressed (the ideal Tory Burch customers).
-The Philosophy invitation was made out of plexiglass!
-The lightboxes on each side of the runway set the mood
-The collection was very intricate and beautiful

“Brandy, can’t you tell I’m FAT AND HAPPY??!!” –Rod
I had lunch at GOOGLE in Chelsea with Ms. Nhatty & Rodman. I didn’t want to break any security codes so I didn’t really take pictures, hehe, but I wish you could of seen everything at GOOGLE! The lunch patio view is to D.I.E. for! There’s also a celebrity guest chef there once a week to cook; there’s anything and everything you can eat/drink. It was THEE BEST meal I had all week long =) Snack bars, game room, massage chairs, sleeping room… and the list goes on. It was absolutely amazing — no wonder why everyone is so happy there!!
Why wasn’t MORIMOTO there when I came??!!! Darnnn…

DAY 4 – I only slept 2 hrs a night and always got up at 6:30AM! That Monday, I had breakfast with the girls at Central Park and spent the day with them before they flew back to New Orleans.
Street Couture – Fabulous!
DAY 3 – Every designer’s dream: The Tents! There’s so many pictures….. ahh. Here’s a few anyway and the video for the show!
Click here for the runway video: THUY – Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week ° New York ° Spring 2009
-After Party at Socialista (the live band was amazing!! the girl can singggggggg!)
-3AM Pitstop in Korea Town (too bad Pinkberry was closed!)
Day 1 – I was asked to help with the THUY collection because they think I have “gentle hands” (LOL) so I spent all day at Thuy’s chic studio in Soho ripping seams, finishing closures, making belts, etc, anything they needed me to do to help finalize all the samples for her debut show at the Tents at Bryant Park. I was completely in love with the collection and was so INSPIRED!!
LATER THAT NIGHT – Me and the girls made our way to the Artful Dodger Collection instillation at the Chelsea Art Museum. The lovely I LOVE DUST team helped design the collection and had veryyyy niceeeee art work displayed throughout the museum. *Thanks for the artwork guys!! The collection was beautifully made! I inspected the garments and appreciated all the itty bitty details like the AD personalized buttons, printed lining, tailoring techniques, embroidered designs, etc. A lot of LOVE was put into each and every single garment in the collection. Overall, I loved it!!
